no, we never put kethcup on, only butter, kecthup would be disgusting.

Gross ! I never heard tell of this__I can't imagine anyone putting anything on Lobster but butter. Maybe they had a side order of fries & the cooking show made a mistake.

lobster in my book is best served steamed with butter. maybe in a seafood medley in a pasta dish.
or chinese - shirmp in lobster sauce

never catsup. i've never heard of that!!!!

I'm American and I don't do it, and I LOVE lobster...I would think it would ruin the awesome taste of the fresh lobster....ugh!

Let me tell you one thing. Americans love ketchup. Ketchup on steak, lobster, eggs you name it we put ketchup on it LOL.
Just kidding some people do but not ALL Americans. I heard you Euros put chocolate on your toast eww.
