Yes they are. As a former non-denominal Christian I was raised to believe that you cannot pick and chose what you would like to believe from the bible. You believe that the whole book is the inspired word of God and therefore it is perfect truth.

Fundamentalism originally referred to a movement in North American Protestantism that arose in the early part of the 20th century in reaction to modernism stressing that the Bible is literally inerrant (meaning it is literal and without error), not only in matters of faith and morals but also as a literal historical record.
So yes, I would say for certain that as a non-denominational Christian, I am. I believe the Bible is inspired by God and complete in every way. I try to live by its standards. Hope that helps. lol

Typically, yes.
check out Joel Osteen ministries. It is a church located in Houston Texas and he is not a fundamentalist. He talks about real things like feeling good about yourself, having a positive attitude and self esteem. Check it out.

Hey Em!
Good Question! How about IT.... do you think that They .... ARE?
Well... many call themselves..... "Christians....?" And yet... the Catholics... and the Christians.... have been FIGHTING IN IRELAND.... FOR OVER 100-Years....!
Which one of them.... ARE.... FUNDAMENTAL? Neither!
IF... you are referring to the Fundamentals of the Faith.... DO YOU MEAN..... those that Believe the Bible... and ITS AUTHORITY.... for those that Are Christian.....? [ John 7:38-39 & Luke 4:4 & Matthew 4:4 ]
IF that is what you mean..... then Very Few.... are Fundamental!
NOT... many believe the BIBLE.... and its Authroity!
They.... WOULD..... rather listen to.... some Man.... tell them... what the Word... says! IT was the same..... when the 10-Commandments....were given!
(Exodus 20:19-20) And = = = they = = = said to Moses,
You speak with us,
and we will hear.
But let not God speak with us,
lest we die.
(Exo 20:20) And Moses said to the people,
Do not fear,
for God has come to test you,
and so that His fear may be before your faces,
so that you may not sin.
SO.... It is today.... Most do not WANT TO HEAR GOD.... i.e. His Word... the Bible!
Thanks, for your Good Question!.....Roger R.

"Non-denominational" implies the lack of a theology or an agenda. So assuming that's actually possible, it would rule out both fundamentalism and anti-fundamentalism.

Certainly not in California. Many of them are extremely liberal. It seems independent churches have broken away for all sorts of reasons.
