I'm looking at: "For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, ...was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. 2 Corinthians 1:19-20

Where does it say, "yes, no, or wait"?

In effect, our wait in obeying God defines love as wait to God. Second, 'We' Americans tend to live in a 'now' society. The Lord (Jesus) told Abraham he would have a son; how long (years)did he have to wait for him?

i think it came from "according to his perfect will"

could be yes, no, or wait.
