Vices bring darkness and death to your sould and confusion to your mind and life.
Virtues bring peace and light to your life. Virtues can only be acquired through the grace of God that comes through faith in Jesus. God then gives you the Holy spirit to help you acquire virtues. Also, Jesus created the Church and choose Apostles to administer the sacracments so that we could continuously partake of God's divine nature through taking holy communion---the body and blood of Jesus.

I believe in the witches rede: That which you do returns to you three-fold. So if you do good, mazel tov. If you do harm, by the time it is multiplied by three, it could be fatal.
Fact is, you are responsible for your actions, which not only reflect who you are but shape who you become. Every time you choose well, you strengthen your ability to choose well, you create a body of experience of how to solve problems without dumping them on someone else. And every time you make a bad choice, you get your face slapped, which makes you resentful if you can't see the connection between the slapping and the choice you made.
Now I will grant you that good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people. But the odds are clearly in favor of being honest and honorable, sticking with what you know to be right, and learning from your mistakes. For one thing, the more screw-ups you do, the more enemies you accumulate, or at least people who decide to keep away from you. That enemies can decide to gang up on you is only fair; the shunning which is more passive can be more effective still.
So make nice, share with the other children, and don't hit them. Kindergarten rules!
