This is about the girl from California, isn't it?
I just want to let you know that long distances relationships are HARD, especially at this age because you never know if you'll get a chance to meet the person in real life, in your case.
You can talk a myriad of things online: hobbies, random topics (you can take turns picking one), friends, pets, music, etc.
=D

Yeah, anything! Just stuff that you would normally talk about in any relationship! And don't say to never give out personal info online, just what you are comfortable with! If you ever have any reason to doubt someone's identity, ask them to send you two pictures of them, say one with the camera sideways and a finger on the nose and the oother rightside up with a smile! Anyone who isn't who they say they are would have a hard time reproducung those!!

I would sagest not dating on-line...at least not till you're older and know what you're getting into. Do you know this person...like from school? If so then I would sagest just going out on a date...not sitting on a computer.
If there is so many rules then whats the point of 'dating' on-line. Why not wait till you meet a girl you really like then ask her out?
Good luck.

Talk about what interests you, sports, gaming, etc. Also ask the other person what they like. From there the conversation will just grow. Keep it real, stay away from sex topics, they just make things uncomfortable, and give the wrong impression.

I am thinking that dating on line is not a good idea for you or anyone for that matter, causes nothing but problems.

Offer some information about yourself (not addresses and stuff.. you know... just characteristics) ... and ask some questions... it's online dating... just communicating. A bit of flattery isn't bad either.

Anything!Just as long as you don't give out personal info. You never know who is on the other side of the computer.
