I have a 1995 Jeep Wrangler and the rear left lower shock mount continues to crack and break. I've had it welded several times, but I don't think the weld is holding. Is there an after market clamp or something I install?

Sounds like your shocks are to long and they are bottoming out on the shock mount pushing the mount right off of the axel. Assuming of course the welds are good. If not reinforce the sides of the mount and weld again, and or I can sell you a new shock mount, or axel bracket kit...

That is the one on the rear end housing right? Check Old Man EMU suspension company and others like Mikes Off Road. I know they have encountered this problem and you might also check if the shock you have is correct length either too long or to short will snap off the mount.

Nope, practice your welding or take it to a shop to weld it. If you have taken it to a shop to get it welded take it to another shop and hope for a better weld.
Quit doing what ever your doing to break it your exceeding the capability of the suspension. Buy an after market suspension SYSTEM and replace the stock suspension if you don't want to quit doing what your doing that breaks it.

Try a different welder.

I used a Lincoln dc @120 with a grade 8 bolt.

Works every time

Go to the nearest dealer and purchase a new mount. It's the only way to do it correctly.
