Wow - it sure sounds like you have a lot of stressful things going on in your life!
Perhaps you need to take a bit if time out and relax. You should talk with your friends and perhaps you might get some benefit if you were to find a counsellor or therapist who could help you work through some of these things.
You certainly should be talking with your boyfriend. I would like to think that he'd be able to help you and support you through this stressful time.

Reading your question was like looking at a chapter of my life before I decided to get professional help. If you cannot talk to your parents about the feelings you have, please, please contact a Dr., even your family Dr. can set you on the right path without anyone even having to know. You have to ease up on yourself. You are a smart cookie being able to graduate from college and am thinking of your M.A. Depression and anxiety are no different that you having diabetes or heart problems. Good mental health is important for a good life. I was in you exact shoes. Depression caused my anxiety and I could barely function, let alone describe to anyone what I was going through. It took me 13 years to get my M.A. But I don't beat myself up, I praise myself for getting help and functioning on a level that I can deal with. There are so many good treatments and medications out there just waiting to help you. And please for me, please don't worry about getting married until you get some help and learn to love and accept yourself for who and what you are. I was a diamond in the rough and now I shine. Reach out, help is as close as the phone book or the Internet. Love yourself first, no one will ever love you if you don't. Good luck!!! Consider it an adventure!!!

well dont feel too bad. becuase i am 21, and i live at home with my father. i cannot go out in public because of very bad fear and anxiety.
i do not have a job, but i have found help through the government, people who cannot find jobs, and it is very hard for me to find a way to get that money becuase no doctor will sign any papers because they cannot describe my condition. but i have the same thing as you. there is medicine you can get for it as well.
if you go to a doctor and tell him how severe it is he will give you medication for it.
i am the same, i have no friends now, i do not leave my home, and basically i am just on my computer all day and night and alone in my room becuase of these things. but i have gotten use to it and now it is just natural for me and i have learned to like it.

First of all, I am very sorry that your struggling, and i cant believe that not many people are reaching out to you. Its shameful that most people only care about themselves. Anyways though, I think that you should check with a doctor to see if you do have one of theese things youve listed, so you can get medication. Hope it gets better. Ill be praying for you tonight as well.

Hi,
Ya know, we are in a wonderful age of high tech. I applaud you for trying to better yourself with education. If you get to stressed out with going to an on campus college, may I suggest an on-line education. One of my best friends has remained in school on-line, raised her children into adulthood and will receive her BA in Graphic Design shortly. As far as your boyfriend is concerned, I at least hope that he understands that you are trying to better yourself, this should not be a threat to him, if anything he should value you more as a literate spouse if you should marry.

Hi hun! Have you considered going to the doctor for some meds for depression. I'm on them and to tell you the truth I was a mess without them. Medication changed my life I can now live and be happy again! Good luck! Hugs!

See depression, stress, and anxiety treatments, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris on pages 2, 7, and 6, and read page 9. When you feel better, consider what you are going to do with your life.
