I heard its three days but could it take longer? And does eating affect this?

it's the rule of 3's. 3 weeks without food, 3 days without water, 3 minutes without air.

i always heard 2 days (2 weeks without food,2 days without water,2 minutes without air), but certain foods may affect that. Foods that contain water,like fruit may give you more time, while foods with salt may absorb water and give you less time. At least that's what i'd figure

In the Sierra desert not long maybe a day or so because the sun dehydrates you but in a cool climate that's not too hot maybe 2 weeks or more or less. It depends on where you're at and how much you sweat.

well it actually depends on how much water do you take normally, if you drink lot of water then you have more water in your body so it takes a lot of time to dehydrate you when you are not getting water but if you take less water then you die soon

yes many things effect this how hot and what food you eat
if you have baths
but if you just lay still 4 days no food and water.... dead
