No. Tea has a calming effect and has less caffeine then coffee. Also, if you don't want a lot of caffeine you could try decaf tea or coffee.

We are not talking about pound-for-pound tea leaves and coffee beans, but the beverage.
Black tea has LESS caffeine than coffee. Green tea has even less. Rooibos and other herbal infusions (often erroneously called teas) have zero caffeine.

I do not know or care, but I avoid tea in the US or on the continent of Europe. It's so horrible, but coffee is just and I mean just the lesser of two evils there

Unprocessed tea contains more caffeine than unprocessed coffee. After processing, coffee is more potent.

i dont think so....its coffee have more caffeine..teas made up of herbals that sometyms cure insomia,while coffee increase ur insomia,that is cause by the caffeine.

by weight, yes, but one uses much less weight of product to make a cup of tea than one of coffee.
