No, it is just uncooked with heat, they prepare it with lemon acid to make sure it is clean.

Yes, it's raw fish...which is high in protein, B Vitamins, minerals and also a great source of Omega-3, proven to aid heart/cardiovascular health. Avoid Sushi and order Sashimi instead if you're watching your weight. Sashimi is raw fish sliced, served over the same rice. That way you can regulate how much (or little) rice you consume.

Huh? Why would sushi be low fat? Sashimi, sure (actually, fish has lots of fat, but it's good fat), sushi, no. You're consuming lots of white rice, AKA carbs, AKA sugar.

As sushi have lots of rice in it, it is not as low fat as you think. Lots of starch :(
