He is the army in ASIA (nothing to do with Iraq or th US service) he knows I love him and he left on his IM ID welcome to my world and crazy in love..but he doesn't talk. He clammed up. When I found him already he was already in the army. I know him 5 years and i told him I had been in love with him for 5 years. But he is not an American and is shy. Every week I send him a care package but he doesn;t have much vacation time and I haven't had the chance to see him yet. He ill leave his cell phone on to get my text messages I told him I wanted to share all my dreams with him. I even am taking classes to learn how to cook the food so someday I can cook for him but right now I don't kno what he is thinking I know he cares about me because he told me he could never get angry at me. Now i just text him to tell him how much I miss him and love him. I just want to be with him!

You said a lot about all you do for him but nothing about what he's doing for you. "Caring" for you does not mean he loves you. It's not a healthy relationship if one does all the giving and the other does all the taking. If he's "clammed up" now, what do you think your future would be like? You have no committment so while he's away, it might be better if you weren't so obsessed with him but kept your options open. Socialize and keep making friends. You might be surprised.

Well if your really, really, really, in love you will wait regardless of what anyone tells you. But I will advice you to take it easy. There's a saying that says "far away love is for fools" but then again you never know. Listen to your hearth and in the end if it doesn't work out at least you gave it your best shot.

i say wait for him. if you love him and he loves you, its all worth it. but also what if he meets a girl ? (my dad would say that). so you should keep your options open. *dont cheat*. just make guy friends that could calm you incase of anything happening.. and dont worry ive been in your shoes before. its hard... dont let him go.. wait for him. hopefully it will work out. but you have to be sure he loves you. just ask him to call you for a few minutes. and discuss it.

If you have been with him for 5 years , you must know if he is worth waiting.True, mutual love never disappears in the distance.

no dont waste your time waiting if he reall wants you he would stay. If you wait you dont know if he will come back he could find someone and stay with them, so dont waste your time

DON'T WASTE YOUR FEELING IN SUCH A SITUATION, IT IS REALLY JUST A WASTE OF EFFORT AND TIME. THERE ARE A LOT MORE INDIVIDUAL WORTH GIVING YOUR ATTENTIONS THAN THIS PERSON.
