Dear Muhammad.. I'm not talking about Mixing sects.. I'm talking about abolishing sects and attaching to the rope of God and the teachings of his prophet... صلى الله عليه و سلم

Its a sad thing that shias and sunnis do not realize that they (we) are all muslims....

The time will come...Inshallah

The shias will realize the sunnis were their brothers all the time and vice versa...One thing we could do now is to listen to our imam Khomeini....He was a man we always will trust....

Dear brother,
In history, people of Indian sub-continent tried to merge Islam and Hinduism once, that resulted in a mess of new religion, Sikhism.
In this way of the cooperation in Shia's and Sunni's, I'm doubtful, it may result in a new sect in Islam.
Allah knows the best.

A rope may have several threads bind in such a way as moving in same direction.
So as long as all sects of Islam have the same destination/intention, there is no harm to have sects there.
I think this is the meaning behind the rope of Allah, the Muslims may have different sects but the main destination, the common denominator, must be the same.

Sunni and Shiite have been battling each other (and everyone else) for about 1500 years. The words of one man are going to change that? I don't think so.
