It can be caused by many different problems. You may have a virus or spyware. I'd suggest scanning your computer for them. If you don't have anything like that then search the internet for free versions such as AVG.

Another reason is because your computer might have too much stuff on it. Try getting rid of things you don't use or neccesarily need.

You could always defragment your computer by going to START=> ALL PROGRAMS =>ACCESORIES=>SYSTEM TOOLS While your at it use disk cleanup which is located in the same place.

If that doesn't work you could always use system restore which reverts you back to the previous setting you had. That can be found in the same location as the disk defragmentation and disk cleanup.

If all else fails back up whatever files you want to keep such as your music or pictures to disks. Then try reinstalling windows using the disk you were provided by the computer manufacterer.

I hope this advise helps =) If you need instructions how to do things you can email me at lucied959@yahoo.com or message me at lucied959 on Ymsger.

Well, This is supposed to be the "MENTAL HEALTH" category, so do you want a medicine for your PC :o).
I would suggest you post your question in the COMPUTERS & INTERNET category and I am sure someone will help you out.

I can make another suggestion, if your Computer has started to behave like this lately try restoring you computer to a date previous than when it started to behave like this(Freezing up).
How to restore ? From the START button go to ACCESSORIES go to SYSTEM TOOL there your will find the SYSTEM RESTORE button :o)

I hope this solves your probelem, this is the first step to be taken if you PC starts to misbehave after working pretty much okay before that :o) And it pays to SCAN your disk for errors and DEFRAG it once every 15 days or so. Best of luck .

Take Care and God Bless.

Maybe there's a virus. Go check your computer for virus scanners.
Your computer is probably old. Change it.
You have no more space in your comp's memory.
You need to trash your old files and defragment.
Go delete your temporary folders (.tmp files) every week.
