For the past few months I've been waking up with my eyes binded shut with what seems to be clumps of puss. I quite literally have to pry my eyes open, from there the clumps stick to my eye lashes.
There are no living additions to my home that could cause allergies. Nothing has changed. Where are these allergies coming from?
And all day I feel a slight ball of some sort under neath my eye lid. I close my eye, roll it, and it goes away for about 3 seconds.
I have contact lenses, but never wear them. I chose to wear my glasses. I am sure to take off my make up before I go to bed.
After thinking of all the plausible causes of this daily morning allergy, I'm clueless. What else should I be looking for?

I just went through this with one person about "dust mites" a big contributor to allergies.
They live in your bedding, you can't see them so don't go looking for them, they're there.
Try washing your bedding every three days at least, they eat your sloughed off skin and the excrement is what your allergic to possibly.
Vacuum the mattresses both of them and clean the entire area good. Try it and see what happens, clean the dust off the curtains etc, maybe the dust from these, etc. under the ed, etc.
Dust mites do not like light and fresh air, they abhor light, I can't tell you to leave the bed unmade but, it will help to see if it works for some relief.

Namaste & Hello,
I’m Ravishankar from India. I’m a Qualified & Practicing Yoga Therapist & Acupuncturist. I’ve also been traditionally initiated into our ancient Ayurvedic System of Nadi Pariksha (Ayurvedic Pulse Diagnosis).
I can help you solve your problem but I may have to ask you a few questions, if necessary, to ascertain the cause of the symptoms you are facing. Your response will help me help you.
All allergies originate from within the system. So something that you're doing wrong is causing it. Follow the directions given below.
You need to watch how you eat rather than what you eat. I'll explain.
1. Do not drink water with of soon after food. Drink it after 1/2 an hour.
2. Do not lie down soon after food.
3. Do not eat junk food or deep fried food.
4. Do not eat sweets after food. take your time.
5. Do not watch TV or talk while eating.
6. After food, sit for 10 minutes & then proceed on your work or whatever activity you want to perform.
7. See your results in a week after doing the above & let me know.
A. Also, in the science of Ayurveda, eyes are controlled by the Liver. So, try taking this recipe. In 3 tablespoons of Aloe Vera juice, mix 1/3rd teaspoon of Turmeric powder & swallow it first thing in the morning for 15 days.
B. Wash you eyes once every 2 - 3 hours with cool, fresh & clean water.

Sounds like pink eye to me. I've been dealing with pink eye for a month now, I don't get the crusies as bad as you.
Look up pink eye (conjunctivitis) on wikipedia or a google search. You usually feel pain to light, have pink eye(s) where they are normally white, find it slightly blurry from the gunk, wake up with sticky eyes that need prying open (use a wet cloth...keep one beside your bed for the morning, pulling will make it worst!), and pain can be very milk to severe.
There are lots of natural cures, or just let time take its course. Washing sheets and pillow cases will help kill the bacteria. It is highly contagious between your eyes and other peoples eyes. I caught pink eye from my strep throat....as it is the same virus. Scary.
Anyways, this might be what you have, but also look up blocked tear ducts. You can massage your duct with warm wet hands, pulling from the inner corner, down along your nose and out towards your cheeks, this should help move the goo. Do this 3 times a day to help clear the blocked duct, warm compresses are also helpful.
Best wishes, eye troubles are so annoying.

You may not have a allergy. You may have plugged nasolacrimal ducts due to other causes.
This will force the tears to backup and not drain at night and dry causing irritation. or a gritty feeling.
Or your lacrimal glands may not be producing a thin fluid at night If they produce a thick tear it may not be flowing across your eye properly to drain.
See a doctor.
