I had a dream that I was at my work (a daycare) and someone was attempting to break through the window I caught his arm and screamed for help and he told me that he was going to rape me like he raped my friend. I knew who the person in the dream was while I was dreaming but have never seen them in real life. Well he didn't end up raping me he got caught but not arrested but I somehow ended up pregnant anyways. My friend came over in my dream and I tried to talk to her about it and we both got scared to leave the house. We looked out the window in my dream and saw a flashlight shining at us and we're going to leave the house and I woke up. Please help me interpret this I am so scared of this dream. Thanks

Hi,
As scary as this dreams seems at first glance, what I noticed is that the one who is threatening you never is allowed to actually get to you. You have a protector who is not allowing this person to carry out his evil intentions! I think the pregnancy may not be from the evil person at all. I think the pregnancy is a wonderful thing, because being pregnant in a dream usually means that you are being entrusted with a new responsibility. Something wonderful is being given to you. At the end of the dream, it's not darkness that is coming at you, but LIGHT that is shining at you. That's good! The evil person wants you to think that what is coming your way is bad, but the truth is that it's wonderful!

Hope this helps!

To dream that you have been raped, suggests a sadistic expression of sexual desire. You may be expressing an unconscious desire to be violated, conquered, or forced into forbidden territory. It also indicates vengeful feelings toward the opposite sex. Alternatively, it suggests that you are feeling violated in some way. Something or someone is jeopardizing your self-esteem and emotional well-being. Dreams of rape are also common for those who were actually raped in their waking life.

To see a rape being committed in your dream, denotes sexual dysfunction or uncertainty.

The dream expresses fear of childbirth, in a variety of forms. The arm came through the window (sexual intercourse); threat of rape (forced sexual intercourse); pregnancy, even though no rape occurred; and fear of leaving the house (childbirth).

Because you fear childbirth, you fear the sex which leads to childbirth. You rationalize this fear by categorizing the sex as rape, even though no rape occurs.

The feelings of fear that you feel are understandable and treatable, and must be dealt with before you can achieve true sexual intimacy with a partner.

According to Dreamcrowd:

To dream about your own sexuality, signifies the secrets and meaning of life. You may be dealing with life issues of birth, marriage, and/or death. Alternatively, it suggests that you are concerned about losing your sex appeal.

Sometimes dreams are your brain using its spare time to prepare you for situations you fear will come true (but probably won't), or even facing up to fears in the hopes of exorcising them. This seems to be a scenario you worry about, and so your subconcious has brought it to the table to be dealt with.

Here's my guess. I think you fear outside things coming in to your safe little bubble and disrupting your plans. You fear invasion into your life. Maybe you're trying to assess whether this fear is warranted. Will you really be at risk if you let new people into your life?

It also seems to point to vulnerability in many ways. Maybe the reason you fear these things is because you don't know what you'd to protect yourself if something bad happens? You go to rely on a friend but you're still in danger. I think maybe you know deep down that you need to be more independent in standing up for yourself. Then maybe you won't be so scared, when you know you can take care of yourself.
