Jesus makes it clear in The Apocryphon of John that the god of the o.t. is satan and NOT His Father. God would never try to control and manipulate us with rear and intimidation. Be smart, believe Jesus, not Moses.

actually I think you got it messed up. from what I've learned God doesn't like blood sacrifices. Proof of which was when Abraham was tested by God to sacrifice his first born as proof of his faithfulness but as when Abraham was about to surrender his son an angel appeared and told him that a strangled animal is present and it was better if he would use that as sacrifice (in the Bible - Old testament). The lesson here wasn't only to test Abraham but to tell as well that he doesn't like human sacrifices. For Christ's blood part, all I can say is that it was part of His journey (to die and be resurrected), so as to prove that He is indeed the son of God.

In old testament, blood was given to God as a simbel of Sacrifices but in new, God sacrifices his only son to the whole humanity

God doesn't need anything, the people needed ritual sacrifice because of order and law.Think about it they didn't have anything to do back then in there spare time no nintendo, no tv, no Internet, and before God they had no rules. No rules means no motivation if everyone could do whatever they wanted crime would be higher and people would be lazier and never accomplish anything. Being in the image of God means being creators and back then after being slaves for so long they were in need of guidance after leaving Egypt. Sacrifice had been around for along time God couldn't change peoples mind about it so he used it to help them know him better and for atonement for sin. Without God giving these rituals and the Law humans would loaf around and think it was OK to rape whomever they please be it human or animal. In time the people changed so God saw the need for new beliefs and change so God incarnated taught and sacrificed the human body he occupied so that the beliefs could grow.

...The Christian Bible...? Who made "that" decision...? If you read the Scriptures... The Old Testament (The Tanakh) was written by the hands of the Hebrew Tribes and Nation... and the New Testament (as you call it)... The B'rit Hadashah was also written by mostly Jews... About your "blood" sacrifice question... Yeshua (you know Him as Jesus...His mother called Him Yeshua).... eclipsed the "Law" in fulfillment of the Scriptures and His sacrifice ended it forever... If God demands blood... you give Him blood (He gave it to you)...but He doesn't demand it anymore and never will... The "price" has been paid in full.................. (Christian Bible....how silly!)
Shalom...

The dark ages didn't come until 400 years after this. This is Pre-Dark Ages.

in the "sacrificing a bull" etc... it was not wasted, it was party time! God did not need the blood... what He wished was that they would 'offer' their first crops as a sign of faith. He would see that they were worshiping Righteousness and not what was created
