I am a very big fan of the Turtles

I have been since about age 7, in 1989, I loved the 1987 cartoon, adored the first movie, and to a lesser extent the second (not really the third), and was very enthusiastic over the franchise, I found it highly appealing

I got older and forgot about them for a while, and then back in 2003 my flame was rekindled with the release of the 2003 show. I discovered this was based on the original comics, of which I was unaware of their existence (being a boy in the eighties), and read some of said comic books

I had been greatly anticipating the 2007 movie, and wasn't disappointed with it in many respects (7/8 out of 10)

So yea lol, this was a long story demonstrating my affection and warmth for the "heroes ina half shell", but what do you personally think of them, and for any fans, what do they mean to you? I really could go on and on but it isn't really the time or place lol

Oh yea, my favourite for a long time has been Donatello, but I am growing more and more fond of Raphael

I see my brains In Donatello, and anger and intensity in Raphael

I am not really as light hearted as Mikey or focused like Leo

My five year old son is a big Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fan.
I own the three Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movies, and
have seen TMNT - my son owns some Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtle shirts.
I am 27 and I never watched the cartoon or any of the movies until a couple of years ago when my middle son became a fan.

I LLLLLOOOOOOVVVVEEEEE the teenage mutant ninja turtles....Raphael was my favorite i think i wanted to marry him til i was about 10 and realized it was impossible to marry a talkin turtle. And Master Splinter he was another great part of TMNT, he was like a grandpa. But as you i watched the cartoons and loved the movies. Those are some of my great memories of my childhood me and all my cousins goin to see them in the theatre. And when i was lil I always made my mom buy Cookie Crisps even though i really hated it because they gave away cereal bowls that were shaped like the TMNT.... I had about 20 of them. And just a couple years ago my cousins and I got a hold of the Go Ninja Go song that Vanilla Ice sang in the movie we still jam out to it every now and again. I even had it on my myspace for a while and I'm a member of the TMNT fan group on myspace too. The turtles are awesome and anyone who doesn't agree can face the wrath of shredder.

They're awesome. I still have all of the old VHS tapes and an unopened Splinter action figure. I liked the movie that came out recently, too, but nothing compares to the original cartoon. (Anyone else notice that just about every movie coming out now or in the future is based on an old cartoon?)

I love the Teenage Mutant Turtles...I took and art class back in the days and those were some of my first drawings that earned me a passing grade in art. I myself like Leo.
