The reason i ask is because i say that when i drink grey goose compared to stolys or smirnoff, i dont feel like crap afterwards or the next morning. My friends say its not true and that I dont drink enough, when i really do.

I don't drink alcohol but I do work in a pub and I've asked the same question to my co-workers and friends, since the price is a lot higher than our well vodka, and they all say the same thing, you just don't feel as bad in the morning. We've even tested people on the taste, people who say they prefer "Grey Goose" over any other, and by taste they couldn't tell the difference. I hope this helps.

I dont think there is a difference...unless you process it differently. Its just plain grain alcohol. I saw a show called the Thirsty Traveller where they made "iceberg vodka". It was expensive just because they used iceberg water. Other than that they just mixed the water with plain old grain alcohol, which was trucked in.

There is a vodka made from grapes which is distilled 5 times though and it does taste different, a hint of white wine. Its called Ciroc vodka...and it isnt infused like all that trendy stuff.

I usually run my Smirnoff through my Brita Filter Pitcher 3 times and it tastes just as good.

your finer vodkas are distilled to be purer and they use better ingredience and that might be the reason you dont feel bad

the difference its the amount of filtering that takes place, allthough i prefer absoulte vodka, especially the vanilla one.
