Not quite. It is, however, exactly ironic that their belief is called a "religion". The only Atheists I know don't attackk anyone. A many in my acquiantance have even been know to invite the door-to-doors in for refreshments while they discuss ideas.

You're right, the "narrow-minded" atheists do that. But I hope that you are not calling ALL atheists narrow-minded.
Most atheists I know accept the rational possibility that there could be a God. But there is no way to prove it, and they do not see the point in putting faith in something that cannot be proven.
The Christians, on the other hand, seem to be far more narrow-minded than the atheists. Christians (as do all religions) do not only say that there is in fact a God, but it is the God that they say it is. Christians are not willing to even think rationally about the possibility that they might be wrong.
I'll put it this way. There are about 7 billion people on earth. About 1.4 billion of them are Christian. That means that in the BEST CASE SCENARIO, 5.6 billion people believe the wrong thing. But atheists are the ONLY group who collectively admit that they could be wrong.
I say all of this as a Christian. I Believe what I believe after looking at the other possibilities. Someone has to be wrong, and I am willing at least logically to consider that I might be that one. That does not hurt my faith, but strengthens it. It was by being open minded that I came to the answer I came to.

Why is it a BAD THING to be narrow-minded? I keep asking this question, especially to my brothers and sisters in Christ, because the Bible does not teach us to be "Open minded" As a matter of fact, it teaches us the opposite. So, don't take offense at being narrow-minded. It is the Narrow path we are to take. We are not suppose to open our minds to other religious beliefs! Where does our Bible teach us that? If atheists think that narrow-mindedness is bad, shouldn't we think it a good thing? Just a thought.

I believe the only irony in this question are the hyphens that attach narrow to minded. And that has nothing to do with being a Christian or an Athiest.

The irony does not apply to all atheists and all Christians. They apply only to specific individual. Anybody who calls another narrow-minded is himself more narrow-minded.

It is ironic. But you have to understand that we Christians are horrible when it comes to listening to other people's belief (generally).
Christians generally want to share what they believe and what they feel, but are often unreceptive of other people's beliefs.
A lot of Christians are narrow minded. And I tell you this as a pastor.

Anyone who points fingers and uses slanderous terms and labels against another person is in the wrong. We should not judge each other, especially if we do not personally know that person. Very few uses on here actually know each other or have seen each other in person; it is easy to attack someone when you have a computer to hide behind.
We need to take the time to understand each other and understand other users' background.

In what context are atheists narrow-minded? The fact most of them had read the bible and find it is ridiculous and hence does not believe in it? The fact most of them wanted evidences before believing in something blindly?
So isn't it ironic the narrow-minded christians who cannot see outside their view calling atheists narrow minded.

It is ironic, brother. But we gotta learn to forgive and respect, so we don't sink down. Romans 5:3-5 says "Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us."
We can rejoice in the persecution, because we're rewarded for it.
God bless

What do you mean by narrow minded. I tend to think of narrow mindedness as just accepting without questioning
