Not many of us around, by the look of things... OK ~~~
A SPELL TO SAY "THANK-YOU"
Even those who subscribe to no particular deity should express their gratitude for the powers that are being used in making magick.. Even if spells have cast to no apparent effect, it is still right to cast spells such as this, for always remember that magick takes time to work...
Spells expressing gratitude are best cast on Mondays when Pisces rules and when the Moon is waxing or full: never when it is waning... Wearing white clothes also adds expression to the "thank-you" being offered..
You will need~~
Any silver items
One white altar candle
One silver taper candle
A posy (nosegay) of white flowers
A bowl of fruit
A dish of coins
A crystal of snow quartz or an opal...
Light the white candle.. As it burns meditate on it, giving silent thanks for the gifts you have received and for which you are casting this spell...Now light the silver candle and rising to your full height and bringing your hands high above your head, say:~~
I thank you for the blessings..
I thank you for the gifts...
For bringing me what I dreamed
By the light of the sacred flame...
And it harm none, so mote it be...
With thanks still in your heart, watch the candle flame until until it flickers and dies, close your ritual as you usually do and leave your sacred space....
Blessings Ariel... )O(

As you wish my dear Ariel
I cannot tell you just exactly where I found this, but it has brought me much peace and serenity in the past few years. In fact, I keep a copy of it on my altar at all times.....
I hope this brightens some rough spots when needed and brings you the contentment and comfort that it has brought me over the years. If I am not mistaken, you may use it anywhere and especially when you are feeling weary, even in the shower!
"Soft is the rain, it genly falls upon the fields beneath.
It lulls the heart, it stills the wind, gives solitude I seek.
It patters down,so gentle yet, it ne'er does bend a leaf,
And yet the water that is there will wash away all grief.
For smoothness follows in the wake,
and quiet and peace and love are all around in freshness new, comes down from clouds above.
All evil go, flow out from here and leave all fresh and plain.
Let negativity not come into this room again.
For love I now find all around, so soft, so still, so sure;
I can perform my rituals as peace and quiet endure"

Hello Ariel,
You may feel isolated but don't feel alone. There seems to be a bunch of very good and very nice Wiccans and other pagans around here, and we are always willing to help. If you want you can always try to find other pagans in your area:
http://www.witchvox.com
Now, on to your actual question, I would love to share something with you. This is a particular ritual I have always loved that is wonderful for banishing day to day earthly negativity that we all pick up while going through our lives. I tend to give this to my students relatively early in their lessons, and have them do it once a day at the end of thier day to help them with their progression by banishing this negativity. It is something I have practiced for years, and has gotten me through some pretty tough times. It is called the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram, which I will give you the traditional Kabbalistic version of the ritual, and a more Wiccan based version of it. At the top of the first page you will find a very involved description of the ritual, with full visualizations and instructions on how to do it. It might seem long, but it really only takes a few minutes. At the bottom of the page is a summary of the ritual. Start with the basic summary, and as you get better at it, and have it memorized, then start adding in the visualizations till you have all of it to the point that you can do it without having to think about the visualizations or words at all, and it just comes naturally. You will find on there a description of the pentagrams and how to draw them, just start with the earth banishing pentagrams, and later if you need to invoke or banish a particular elemental energy, you can use any of them once you have the ritual itself down. The second page I will give you is a Wiccan version of the ritual, I tend to use the Kabbalistic version of it, but if you feel more comfortable with the Wiccan version feel free, and use the first page as a guide to do the ritual, and the second as the wording for it.

I don't do much spell work as I feel spells are mainly to help our subconscious mind to believe, so therefore I mainly work on my believing. However daily I do psychic shielding
I envision all the negative energy and emotions leave my body while I see a white light above me sending positive, healing energy through my body.
I see this light fill my body and then expand three inches around me then 6 feet out.
I say , " There is one power in the universe, and I am a perfect manifestation of that power and as such will that the boundaries of my aura shall be strong and healthy repelling all unwanted energy while remaining open to positive healing energy. Safe within these boundaries nothing can harm me I am filled with the strength f the Goddess. by my will so mote it be and it is so. "

I'm new to the ideas of Wicca and Witchcraft, and I don't know much about magic. But today I was meditating, and it really hit me how alive everything is around me, especially the tree I was under. Of course I've always known that a tree is alive, but suddenly I could feel it. I realized that it was constantly struggling for it's own existence like any other living thing, and that it had it's own force of energy driving it to live. So I put my hand on it, and closed my eyes, and ran my hand over the bark, feeling it, just letting the idea of it's life flow through me. It felt that as long as I cared for it's existence, I had a share in it's life energy.
Later, I was feeling bad about something, so I went back to that tree, and did the same thing. I put my hand on it and felt it living, and felt suddenly at peace with nature. I've never said anything in my life to any sort of Deity, but I suddenly found myself saying, aloud, "Thank you Goddess, for the gift of this tree, and it's life, and mine," and I felt much better about the things that were bothering me.
I don't know if this was a spell, but it was a deeply satisfying experience. If you ever feel low, I recommend that you try something like it.

I don't know if you'd call this a spell, or that it would work for anyone other than me, but I have a "spell/prayer" I often use to keep loved ones safe when flying. Basically all it is is three stones: Chalcedony, Malachite, and Diamond (actually their pictures on cards from my The Tarot of Gemstones and Crystals deck) that I set on my altar when anyone goes flying until they come home. I use Chalcedony because it is a good stone for protection of travelers, Malachite is a favorite stone of mine for protection in general, and Diamond is the stone of the Sylph, elemental spirit of the air.
I just focus on the cards for several minutes, repeating a mantra of "Chalcedony Malachite Diamond" until my nerves settle. I honestly don't know if any gods "hear" me, but so far everyone has come home safely and I don't worry as much anymore. :-)
Blessed be.

Dear Ariel,
My spells are fairly naked, that is to say , without a lot of "things" or particular words. What works for me, and it just about always works, it when I focus on something very specific that I want to have happen. For instance, I have a big garden with 2 big oak trees an dit is hard to plant under oak trees so I have started to create a natural landscape, in which I wanted several BIG rocks, as there would be naturally. These boulders are very big, expensive, and difficult to transport.
My spell was to go down into my yard and look at the place where I wanted to boulders. I sat down on the earth and listened. I picked up 3 small rocks and held them, focusing on having 3 big rocks in the place. I closed my eyes and heard the birds singing all around me, I smelled the earth and the wind and felt the oak leaves falling on my head.
After a while of just listening, I focused on visualizing the 3 rocks in my hand growing and growing, until they felt bigger and bigger, and with my eyes closed, I place them on the spot where I wanted the boulders. I opened my eyes and for a moment, the bigger rocks seemed to be ther. I could tell that they WOULD be there.
This spell worked almost instantly. My steps and my decisions took me on a path of action that led to the arrival and placement of 3 enormous boulders in my yard, under my very happy oak trees. The 3 boulders are in the South of the garden, the Quarter for Transformation, and for heat and rock. They are the maiden, mother, and crone of the garden. I go out there and look at them and am led to the meditative and reflective state, and I feel peace.
My spells work to inspire me to take myself by the hand and galvanize MYSELF TO ACTION, not relying on anyone else to smell the roses for me or to get bouders in my garden for me. Spells empower me this way.
It feels like I just did the boulders again! When I get specific and simple, they work.
Bright Blessings,
Lady Morgana )0(

Dear sister,
I can't share a spell; it would violate my oaths and ethics. But I *can* make a contribution to your BOS by giving you this self-blessing:
After a ritual purification bath, in your circle, anoint each part of your body mentioned with a blessing oil (of your favorite type), as you say these words:
(forehead) Bless my mind, that I may know wisdom.
(eyelids) Bless my eyes, that I may see truth.
(ears) Bless my ears, that I may hear the voice of the All.
(mouth) Bless my mouth, that I may speak the sacred Names.
(hands) Bless my hands, that I may heal and comfort.
(heart chakra) Bless my heart, that I may be open to love.
(feet) Bless my feet, that I may walk lightly upon the body of the Mother.
