does smoking cause pimples?

im just wondering im a smoker does it cause acne or pimples i get acne n pimples but i dont know if it is from smoking? can someone help me out and whats a good way to stay clear from pimples

I think that smoking causes you to be more acne prone, because when your smoking the pores on your face suck up all those intoxicates. I was having some acne problems and quit smoking 68 days ago. At first nothing cleared up but about 2wks ago I have been breaking out less.

i dont think so. its actually caused by the impurities in ur body.if u workout regularly u dont get them coz ur inner impurities are released by ur sweat.also by drinking a lot of water could decrease ur pimples.but if u r just sitting at home doing nothing then in order to throw out the impurities u sprout pimples on ur face.

Depends on your hormones, wht you eat & daily activities.
But medically it's among the causes.
Most celebrities that stopped smoking notice their skin & teeth are better. Some of my friends too.

i like what she said up top... makes sense.... and definitely smokin doesnt cause pimples cuz then parents would be accusing kids of smiking and you know how many ugly faced people there would be in the world?????????????
