Photoshop CS2 help pls! trying to copy, paste and move, but...?

its says "Warning: no pixels were more than 50% selected. The selection edges will not be visible" when I use the lasso tool to select. I have tried everything... just going CRAZY!

If you select an area that is smaller than the selection feather size you will get this error message.

Choose a selection tool and look at the option bar at the top of the window. Decrease the feather pixels and you should be fine.
