I recently, two day ago, got a tattoo on the back of my neck. I keep a slave on it, but whenever I go to put it on, it feels like it is flaking off. This would be my second tattoo, but I don't remember the first one flaking like this. Is it normal? Or is it just because of where the tattoo is?
Also, when I woke up this morning, I found ink on my pillow. Will my tattoo like run out my body, or is that just excess ink? It was well done, and no one else who has gotten a tattoo from this guy has had problems before. I am just wondering if I have anything to worry about.
Thank you in advance for the answers!

Everything you are experiencing is totally normal. Make sure you use a dye and fragrance-free skin lotion, but just an amount no larger than a pea. Your skin will flake and the ink will go with it, but your tat will look fine when it's healed.

Yes, flaking is normal. You don't want it to scab though. Keep it moisturized but not with ointment at this point. If it's been a couple days you can start using a small amount of frangrance free lotion. Ink on the pillow may be a sign that you're using to much oinment.

tattoos will peel or flake but sounds to me you are using to much ointment but now that your tattoo is healed you can use a mild unsented loition like lubedurm for your after care
