Having one cup of coffee per day may not be too much of a problem, more could lead to health issues as caffienne robs the body of nutritients.
If you find that you NEED that coffee to function then this is likely an addiction to caffeinne rather than simply enjoying a beverage each day.
Below are a few of the reasons why coffee could be a bad thing.
Caffeine is far too stimulating, causes restless sleeping, irritates the stomach, and is hard on the adrenals. Weakening the adrenals by drinking caffeinated beverages regularly can contribute to the development of significant health problems over the years.
For more information on Caffeinne read http://www.livingwithrheumatoidarthritis.com/Caffeine.html

my goodness, how can you intake so much caffeine...for me one cup does it..too much of anything is bad...4 cups, i'd say, is ALOT, keep it between 1 and 2 cups..you can go for the 3rd if your desperate but dont go over that...and dont drink 3 daily either, only once in a while..once or twice a week. too much caffeine can assist in causing blood pressure issues, heart issues, even cause ulcers..it depends on the individual and their health background within their immediate family...if heart problems, blood pressure problems, diabetes, run in your family, even if your taking certain medications, beware of over indulgence with caffeine..you may feel you need the kick but its not worth the problems it CAN cause,...first off, find out the disorders that is hereditary within your family

The only side effects would be yellow teeth and withdrawal if you don't get your caffeine.
