Isn't that the oddest thing? I imagine he was pretty regular? Many people drink mineral oil too. Can't imagine doing either.

My dermatologist swears by vaseline as a facial night treatment ---says to put a very thin layer on the skin and your skin will stay supple and full of elasticity.

I don't know where you got this from but, the facts would be nice.
I do know Vaseline wasn't "invented" it comes from the sludge off the drill rigs drilling for oil. The men were seen to have baby soft hands and a pharmacist saw this and started to experiment with it. Whether he ate it or not is another issue I never heard about.

Vaseline is very good for cuts and bruises, it's the gobby stuff you have to put up with but, it will sooth sore ands and even feet.
