Like wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miraculous powers, prophecy, distinguishing spirits, speaking tongues, interpretation of tongues, and is there any others.ANSWER with respect I ASK for i know that some un believers will answer this.I believe in them and understand that we do not always see them because we know Jesus will and that takes more than just reading the bible we must spend time alone with him and talk and listen to him this takes time because God wants us to spend time alone with and there are certian changes we must undergo before we recieve gifts and those changes need to happen so that we are able to use them wisely and when God wants us to for not everyone who does good works will go to heaven read matthew5:12matthew7:21-23

Interestingly, I was just talking about this topic tonight with friends. I do believe in Spiritual gifts, but I don't really understand them fully. I am trying to differentiate between spiritual gifts and human talents and abilities. Can non-Christians have spiritual gifts? I don't think so, but we still refer to people as a "gifted" athlete or artist etc. What does that imply?

Well, since you asked Christians if they believe in spiritual gifts, I would assume that the answer is yes. Since the Bible spells out the spiritual gifts very explicitly, it would be silly to not believe in their presence. Also, you can experience/witness them amongst the Body of Christ.

Yes I believe in gifts from god. The problem is most of Christians do not realize they have them or do not know how to use them.

yep I am familiar.. at my church our mid week service is about the gifts of the Holy Spirit.. it is really good.. while I personally do not have the gift of tongues (I do believe in it) I know someday I will be ready for it.. I was raised conservative Baptist, so I am still not ready to experience it myself...I am afraid of the unknown.. lol.. and it is a good unknown.

They are alive and active.
They are to glorify God. He may not be giving gifts where people can take credit for them.
Like healing and prophecy they tend to get misused and the people get proud or worse paid for their gift.

yes.
DO THE WILL OF GOD
You need to find a home church, be obedient, follow his word, be baptized with the holy spirit, show your self approved and do the will of God (Mark 16: 15 - 18)
