Sorry about your loss - that really sucks!
It's natural to get angry during a loss then get depressed
Please grieve and acknowledge the pain you feel. If you stuff down your pain or hide it under the carpet, it will resurface or express itself in anger.
After you grieve and accept this loss - you could make a "resolution". Nick Lachey, after writing songs grieving the loss of his wife and marriage, wrote a Resolution. You can listen to it here: http://nicklachey.com/

It depends if you are friends anyway or have contact like go to school together or work.
If you do see her often, then you can just be friends with her, just because you can't be her boyfriend at the moment doesn't mean you can't be friends. Also, if she ever goes through bad times you can be there for her. Lots of relationships don't last and you never know that she might not break up with her current boyfriend, in which case if she likes you too already as a friend then who knows, you may be in with a chance then.
If you don't have contact though and it's just someone you see from afar then i would just accept that she is with someone else at the moment and that is that. Life is tough sometimes when you love someone you can't have, and i feel your pain, but to accept and forget is best if this is the case.
Hang out with your friends and family and concentrate on your own happiness in other ways/areas of your life.
Good Luck - hope things work out for you :o)

When I had the same problem, I would just hang out with my friends and make myself really busy. Filling up your extra time with things to do can make you side- track into what you are doing. This helped me a lot, but remember not to fill your time with useless things like partying and stuff. Just do things that will benefit you and your future. Hanging out with friends and having a good time helps a lot! I know it's a pain to try to forget about someone you love. I am going through it right now, but I am just trying to enjoy myself and the time I have. I try to make myself busy so I don't think about her.
And plus doing hard work means less thinking for you at night since you will be tired and fall asleep real quick!
Oh yeah, and you can try playing some sports or work- out to get the stress going away.
Hope this helped!
Good luck bro! :D

I had the same prob bro. First off if you ever see her with her bf and they see you no matter how much it hurts or makes you feel sick to your stomach you must act like it doesnt bother you. You must act like this girl did not get to you, and she will gain respect for you as a friend and maybe... just maybe later down the road she might begin to talk to you. To work out the pain, If you have some really good friends that you can talk to. Talk to them about everything that bothers you about her and just talk it out, and eventually it will get it out of your system and will not bother you. Trust me its hard but start talking to other girls and you will realize there are other fish in the sea.. no joke

Start having some hobbies...sports, dancing, reading!
Look after yourself and others!
Keep yourself busy, then you`ll find the way how to attract somebody who is "free" for you & would like join your company! I`m sure you`ll find somebody nice soon!
Spend some time with your family, friends...You can find every time somebody to talk to!
Think positive! Listen to happy music and watch comedies!
You can be happy!
All the best! Good luck!

i don't have the answer for this cause i'm going through it as well.. but as long as you don't see her, you'll eventually get over her, that's what I'm doing right now, but i still find myself looking at his pictures and reading his profile at times.. i know it's hard for you to get over her because she was someone special, but she's got a boyfriend now, and you can't really do anything about it unless if you want to wait, but i don't think that's the best idea.. i know you'll find someone new as long as you keep your options open. it's not easy but i guess everyone goes through that, it's part of life. but i hope you'll get over her soon. it doesn't mean you have to forget about her, it just means that you'll start looking for a new special person who you'll think of all the time, someone new, good luck!

seems like loads of us are in the same situation..
i,m in love with a man who sadly doe,s not feel the same way towards me.
guess you could try booking a holiday and getting away from the whole scenario for a bit and see if that helps with your feelings..
i wish you well and hope things get better for you soon...

To be honest with you, if she has a boyfriend you will just have to move on. Find someone knew, it will help with the process of letting go.

This is always hard, but the best remedy is to relax with your close friends. They are the source of happiness that will help erase this pain.
