Well how old are you?
When I was 16 I dated a 22 yr old - too old for me b/c it was illegal & my mom forbade it.
When I was 18 I dated a guy who was 28 - too old for me at that time in my life.
When I was 24 I dated a guy who was 32.....and when I was 29 I married him. ; ) 8 yrs was ok by the time I reched that age.
So really, it depends on where you both arei n life. If you're starting college & he's trying to establish his career - probably not a good fit. If you're under 18 - DEFINATELY not a good fit.

there is an unwritten rule (now its written)
the older person halfs their age and adds 7
eg. a 20 year old
20 / 2 =10 10 + 7 = 17
so a 20 year old can date a 17 year old
eg. a 28 year old
28 / 2 = 14 14 + 7 = 21
so a 28 year old can date a 21 year old
does this solve the problem?
hope so

Depends how old are you? If you're 14 to 17 then he's a loser pedophile and should be locked up. If you're 18 to 24 well then he's still a weird dude but maybe it will work. If you're over 25 no problem, 6 years is nothing, and he probably has more money. Marry him and divorce his butt and take half his money.

If your 17, then no way, but younger than that might be risky.
I am 16 and I'll be 17 in November, and I like a guy who is 10 yrs older than me,but even I wouldn't go for it. There's alot of risks. He could go to jail for your actions. I know you'd probably hate that you can't go with him cuz even I feel the same way now but it's for the good.

Once you are 18 years and older I don't see a problem, my guy is 15 years older than me. Age is not important.

No,not too old. But really it depends on how old you are. 13 to 19 is too old, however 35 to 41 isn't. Depends on how mature BOTH of you are. I know a girl (23) who got married to a guy who was 36. He is a little immature for his age and she is very mature for her age.

6 to 7 years is not a big deal. If you like each other and have stuff in common age doesn't matter.

In love and relationship, age doesn't matter.
Most of the time, mature guys are more capable of handling responsibilities, more broad-minded, unselfish and understanding. Young guys or guys in your age, most of the time are not only immature but also temperamental and full of insecurities.
