I moved out when I was 18 in with my bf who my mom has always liked...I now have a 3 month old son and live with my bf still I am 20 years old and I feel like she still thinks I am 15 years old, I get some mail at her house still and she opens it up...she tries and tells me exactly how to raise my son and sometimes makes comments about certain things it just bugs me...the main thing is while I was pregnant she was like Oh I cant wait to babysit ect...well when I ask her to babysit (which isnt very much) she seems annoyed or like she doesnt want to...but yet she wants me to visit during the day w/him? I would like some free time...but when I ask...it's like she will say yes but I know she would rather not, she says she is "tired" WELL HELLO so am I!! I don't want to cause a fight or seem like I am using her but I would like to have some free time. My boyfriends parents take him anytime we ask and never complain they even ask if they can watch him. Should I see what her deal is or ignore

Your mom feels that you've made some wrong choices here. Maybe she feels you've jumped into the mommy business a little too soon, maybe she wishes you would marry your boyfriend to offer your sweet little baby boy some stability as he gets older, maybe she feels you flew the coop before she was finished raising you.

Let her visit you and see you doing a good job handling your situation. Motherhood actually increases the IQ, and you are probably twice as mature and capable as when you were at home, but she doesn't know it. If you're tired. let her watch him at your home while you take a nap now and then, or nap at her house while she plays with him.

Don't set up a confrontation or negative discussion with her. She's on a hair trigger as it is, and you want to sweetly beckon her toward you, not push her away.
