I've had a crush on the same guy off and on for 3 years. I know he doesn't like me. I knew he didn't like me before he got a girlfriend and he's been with the girl for a year now. I just can't get him out of my head. I keep wondering about if I had done something differently. How do I get him out of my heart. I know in my head it's never going to happen. So how do I keep from thinking it will.

Displace the affection you feel for him. Volunteer at a senior citizens home, or adopt a puppy, or find some outlet that actually loves you back. Everytime you think of him, pour all that emotion onto your hobby love source.

Trust me, this works. In a short time, you will feel completely attached to the old folks, or the doggie, or whatever, and you won't even remember whats-his-name.

Keep yourself busy. Find new hobbies and keep yourself occupied. That way you wont think of him as much and will have a chance to meet new people and maybe a new romantic interest.

You need to watch the Secret. Is not easy to forget someone you love, but in your case it sounds like infatuation not love.
You need to move on with your life...
