Don't Jews and Christians and Muslims believe in the same god, but worship him in different ways?
i think thats what i was told by my religion teacher!
if so...then i think thats awesome! more reason for all members of three religions to get along!

I have no problem with that; why would I?
I know we worship the same G-d, though each religion has a different approach, that's all.
Actually, Muslims and Jews share the most important belief: The belief in one G-d who is undivided, who has no blood relatives.

I don't care. They can worship any God they want. I believe anyone has the right to worship any God of their choosing since it has not been proven that only one God exists. But of course, some nutcase on here will claim that Jesus has spoken to them or something........then claim it was fact, but the fact was they had one too many that night. No offense to Jesus, he is up there with every other God.

Theists of most of the major world religions worship the same God. We just have different traditions and call "Him" by different names.

Well its true.
Jews and Muslims might have theological differences over his nature, but we worship the same deity.

fine by me. its not exactly my place to decide what god another person worships. if they say they worship the G-d of abraham, then they must be, considering they would be the ones to know best who exactly they are worshipping.

Personally, I don't care. I don't mean this from a negative perspective at all. On the contrary--it's simply that I have my view of G-d and the Muslims have theirs. Why should it matter to me? To me, it's like saying that a color that I see is blue and someone else sees it as green. OK, they have their view and I have mine, but since their view doesn't affect my view, it doesn't matter. They're not going to convince me that it's green and I don't have an interest in convincing them that it's blue.

Hello Amanda.
The OD of Abraham, the OD of Isaac, and the OD of Iacob. OD is not the OD of the dead, but of the living. (Ex. 3:6, 15-16; Matthevv 22:32)
One vvord:
ISRAEL; vvhich means SEEKER.
Hovv? Simple. Hovv did Iacob recieve the name Israel? He *vvrestled* vvith OD (g-d) and has seen OD face to face and has prevailed. VVhoever seeks and vvrestles and prevails is given the name Israel. (Gen. 32:24-32)
The children of Israel -the (true) seekers- are the people of OD, for it is vvritten:
Not according to the covenant that I made vvith their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; vvhich my covenant they brake, although I vvas an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
But this shall be the covenant that I vvill make vvith the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I vvill put my lavv in their invvard parts, and vvrite it in their hearts; and vvill be their OD, and they shall be my people (Jeremiah 31:32-33).
IS-RA-EL: Isis, Amen Ra, Elohim. **ONE** OD *of* and *for* all people.
Isaiah 54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; the OD of the vvhole earth shall he be called.
There is but ONE Creator vvhich has been given many different names by many different people. The Creator belongs to no one, no one person, creed, nationality, et cetera et cetera for it *belongs to* ALL and *is* ALL and *is vvithin* ALL and is *vvithout* ALL.

God seeks all to be one vvith Him. And as all things vvere made by Him, that vvhich is the creative influence in every herb, mineral, vegetable, or individual activity is that same force ye call God--and seeks expression! Even as vvhen God said, "Let there be light," and there vvas light. For, this is lavv; this is love.
