I no longer believe in an afterlife or posthumous judgment. According to all credible evidence, when my brain dies, my consciousness will end. My body will decay and become part of the earth. All that will remain of me are the memories others have of me and the results of the deeds I did while alive.

What is my view hmmmmmmm! well I am not sure if there is a afterlife but I guess i will know one day . The truth is I guess we all have to hope there is one because then that would mean it does not end and we do have a continuation of our existence even if it is spiritual, but anyway here is a thought on the afterlife
A couple made a deal that whoever died first, they would come back and inform the other of the after life. Her biggest fear was there was no heaven. After a long life the husband was the first to go and true to his word he made contact.
Mary... Mary....
Is that you Fred?
Yes, I have come back like we agreed.
What is it like?
Well, I get up in the morning, I have sex, I have breakfast, I have sex, I bath in the sun, then I have sex-twice, I have lunch, then sex pretty much all afternoon-supper-then sex till late at night, sleep then start all over again.
Oh Fred you surely must be in heaven.
Hell no, I'm a rabbit in Kansas.

God is very clear about what happens when we die. There is a separation of the soul from the body. For the person who has been saved, at the moment of their salvation they received a new resurrected soul. This soul (upon the death of their body) goes into Heaven to be with Jesus Christ. Then, on the last day, these souls along with Jesus will return and receive their resurrected bodies.
For those who are not saved (upon the death of their body), their soul also leaves but instead of going into Heaven it goes to a place of silence. There it remains in darkness and silence until the last day when Jesus returns and then all of the unsaved will be judged and cast into Hell.
God tells us in the Bible we all will stand for judgment. In Romans 14:9-10 we read:
"For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living. 10 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ."

Since we have the gift of eternal life, we will just continue in some altered form without the carnal shells we now inhabit. A visit with God the creator and back again for another try another place, until we get it right. I am really enjoying this visit and learning lots... hope you are too!

When I consider the hour that will come
In which my spirit will be one with God,
It is then that my joy will be complete;
It is then that I will see the whole creation.
All of its secrets will be revealed to me
And my knowledge will be prefect:
The galaxies will be at arm's distance,
I will touch the stars with my bare hands;
The beauty of every flower, mountain and valley
No longer will be a secret,
And every creature will reveal to me
The immense, awe-inspiring world
Created by God's loving hand.
And as I stroll on the bottom of the oceans,
Ride a comet through a million stars,
Or watch a flower grow,
I will look in the eyes of other angels
To meet in them the same beatitude
In which my spirit rejoices.

When I die I will no longer exist. Not because the boogie man doesn't want me to. But because there is no life after death.

my view is that i dont wanna go to hell!!!
after you die god raises everyone up on the day of judgement... there he judges everyones for the good and bad deeds that they did in this life, all the ppl who did good deeds go to heaven, the ppl who did bad deeds go to hell...
some of the ppl who did good and bad things, have to wait for eternities for their judgement during wich time they will be very scared for their judgment...
GOOD LUCK!
