depends on your body's chemistry. you could actually gain weight when eating so little because your body goes into starvation mode and slows down metabolism, digestion, etc.

What will happen when you stop this diet after a few weeks?
Your weight will bounce back.
Eat healthily with lots of veggies, lean meat and complex carbs and exercise, you will not have problem losing some fats and weight.
I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.
Details such as meals, recipes, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog

you are right it is not healthy and what you said is possible also. The warning is that the aging process will speed up and cant be reversed. Not only that you will gain back all that you lost if you either start eating or stop exercising.
So loose weight gradually reducing food but increasing variety of food, drinking lots of water especially before meals to kill the hunger and have determination or will power to control yourself when you see good food. I lost 30 lbs in two months and have maintained at the reduced weight for two years now. I can tell you reducing was easy the way you say but maintaining it is difficult. Read about how I lost weight here http://looseweightfree.blogspot.com I am sure you can also do it.

if u ate 3 oranges or only 3 oranges? how would u get the energy to work out for 3 hours on 3 oranges?
u will lose ur metabolism if u ate like this. u will lose weight both fat and muscle. so when u start eating normal again, ur metabolism rate would be slower and ur body being in a semi famine state would start packing pounds especially near ur abdominals.
good luck.

a few weeks could feel like a few years to your body, when your body doesnt have food your metabolism slows down to almost stopping. it stores all the fat u have because it doesnt know when its next meal will be. so feed your self well and work out less than 3 hours. yes you will lose way more than a pound a day doing that, but you will gain it back the moment you start eating after those weeks,
hope this helps

You Would Be Better To Eat 3 Bars Of Chocalate Laxative And Exercise, Because Unless You Are Allergic To Oranges, It Wouldn't be that Effective.

You probably would loose a few pounds, but gain it all back because its garenteed that you are going to crash-diet.
And eating 3 oranges a day is not good for your body because it doesnt give you all the nutricients that your body needs.
What I recommend is just eating smaller portions if you want an easy going diet.
and take walks once in a while.
I did that and lost 30 pounds in 6 months.

it would definitely work, that is if you stick to such a strict regime..a few years ago i was trying all kinds of crazy diets just to lose a .lb or two fast, and boy did it work, nowadays i cant even keep a .lb on if i wanted to. make sure you stay focused and dont let this kind of diet-thinking take over..becuz it can, especially once you try it and see how fast you lose the weight, phew..i cut my calorie intake by half and exercised for up to 2 hours a day, and i lost my weight so fast, once the summer was over everyone was asking what i did. i told them i cut milk (which i did, cuz im a BIG milk and cheese fan) and exercised like crazy for one whole summer and that did the trick

Not a good idea, measure what you eat in one day then cut this in half. Work out one hour a day, go for an hour long walk. You will lose all you want and be healthy.

You would hurt yourself and the acid in the oranges would hurt your stomach. Eat one kind of fruit a day and do not work out as much during your fast.

it may help you lose weight but it hurts your body.you should try eating more but more choices of food so when it comes out the exit part of your body you'll not only throw the fruit you just ate but you will throw away the bad things that make fat in your body.
it's healthy and you still lose weight
