when i have a test coming, i'll have to study. so i do. but then, the distraction starts when my siblings play game and i keep on watching them. same thing when i do my homework...

You need to learn and understand what kinds of study work best for you. Do you work better if you see the words? I find that when I am in a class, if I take good notes, and review them with a set of colored high-lighter pens, it works best for me. Hearing a lecture, writing the notes, reading them, and color coding key phrases and linking the ones by color that make the same level of information.
Some people are better with aural (hearing) input. If that is you, you may want to tape or record your lectures, and then read your text alound, or record yourself reading the text so that you can replay and listen to it again.
Try to have a regular time and place that you feel comfortable studying. A nice table or desk and chair that you can devote to being your study area is ideal.
Try not to study right after eating, because digestion might make you feel tired or sleepy. Unless you have just come home from school and need a snack to stave off hunger pangs.
Sometimes playing some quiet music in the background will aid your memory, too.
It sounds as if you need to find a quiet space that you can retreat to away from these siblings, to close a door, put on some quiet music or headphones to block out the exteriour noise, and concentrate.

well, the best way to avoid distraction is to lock yourself up in a room and study. that way you won't seeanyone playing. and also reward yourself by playing AFTER you finish studying.

have you tried to do it in a room thats away from anything that can distract you?? thats what i do, i tell my mom and whoever that imma be in my room and that i dont want to be bother and then i get everything ready and set it out infront of me and i play soft music in that background
