How can a Texas Cowboy ask this question? Of course we expect you to favor steak.

But try some tuna steaks. They should be blood red in color. They will cost a bit more per pound than sirloin or T-bone but you don't buy as much so it evens out. Get them 3/4" thick and about the size of your hand.

Coat them with pepper - add your favorite seasoning if you must but just pepper is great. Heat a little olive oil in a fry pan and cook for 5 minutes each side using medium heat. The outside will turn white and the inside will remain pink. Test it first then serve immediately. Melts in your mouth. Cuts like steak, too.

Grilled Fish Steaks

1 clove garlic, minced
6 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
2 (6 ounce) fillets halibut

In a stainless steel or glass bowl, combine garlic, olive oil, basil, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and parsley.

Place the halibut filets in a shallow glass dish or a resealable plastic bag, and pour the marinade over the fish. Cover or seal and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour, turning occasionally.

Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate. Set grate 4 inches from the heat.

Remove halibut filets from marinade and drain off the excess. Grill filets 5 minutes per side or until fish is done when easily flaked with a fork.

Mmmmmm, fish.

You should try this:

Fried fish (Perhaps cat fish, or any other fish that's good that you like) with white rice and fish sauce (in Vietnamese, it's called nuoc mam. Perhaps the Shrimp and Crab Brand fish sauce.) And chop up some chili peppers and put it in the fish sauce as a dipping sauce, it's delicious.

How about fish AND steak

Steak, and I also would like a baked potato with butter and sour cream. Go ahead and throw some carrots and green beans on there too. I'll have a long island iced tea to wash it down with, awh, go on and bring me two of them oh and I'm going to be needing an ashtray. Thank You.

depends on the restaurant....i eat lobster, crab, shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels at red lobster or any other really good seafood place. i like filet mignon at good steakhouses. i don't cook these items at home. both are delicious. also depends on my mood.
