This guy I know, me and him have a very close cool relationship, I never thought of him as more than a friend. I ALWAYS talked to him about guys and he gave me advice on my exs and stuff. A very comfortable friendship.
He had a gf and so me, him, and one of my gal pals went to the movies one day and I saw the guy I really like, so I started talking to my guy friend about him and I said, "Man if I knew he was gonna be here I coulda made out with him!! :)" And he said "Well I coulda made out with you too but I wouldn't do something like that..." And I said hopefully not cuz I don't want your gf beating me up lol" And he then told me that they had been broken up for about a month! He didn't tell me so I didn't know!!
Now he has been avoiding me and not talking to me much anymore...
Did I do something wrong?
I even kinda like him now I know hes single...
Is this relationship shattered forever??

You did nothing wrong. It's normal for guys not to tell thier girl pals about thier relationships much.
He is single now and sad....that post rleationship saddness and the feeling he'd be single forever. He might like your or might just be turning to you because your there. He may not know himself....so he avoids you.

okay first question...if you and him have such a "close cool relationship" how come you didnt know about him and his gf breaking up til a month later?? As far as him avoiding you, maybe he started to feel a little more than friendship in you but didnt want it to get any farther so he backed off. Or maybe your friendship just kinda fell off...if you really wanna know, you should ask him. Oh and dont like him just because hes available, and if you really truly like him then you need to say that, dont hold anything back, cause you never know what response youll get from him.

Ask him. I doubt it's shattered forever--just talk to him. It sounds like you'll either stay friends or try to take it further--and even if taking it further doesn't work you two seem to be close enough to stay friends.
