I know people who have accidently eaten a tape worm from eating medium-well done steak. But i think steak is too tough when it's well-done. so how do you know your eating a tape worm. would the flavor change? what?

tapeworms in steaks are rare, in both senses. it doesn't happen often and when it does is when the meat is eaten extremely rare. you'll be fine.

As long as the center of your steak is cooked to at least 160 degrees on the inside you should be fine, Most meat has been produced by FDA approved facilities and Handeling is monitored to prevent infestation of the cow much, and therefore the meat!!!

It would be long like a tapeworm. Just watch what you're eating, I guess. I'm sure it isn't common.

My steaks are always med. rare.
