I have replied u this question before. Let them use Quran for any purpose. Quran is book of God protected by him not by u and me. When a person uses it for any purpose, Quran itself prove its vivid message.

"Whereas belief in God is absolutely required, it is not only mistaken but wrong to believe that Jesus was His Son, in that special Trinitarian sense. Muslims will never accept that God has a partner, or sharer, or would ever intermingle His 'substance' in the world of physical matter by engendering half-human offspring." From the book, 'What Every Christian Should Know About Islam' by Ruqaiyyah Waris Maqsood.
As I understand it, Islam teaches that Jesus was a prophet. Jesus is acknowledged as being a miracle worker, but not divine. Islam also accepts some of the Old Testament writings - but they are selective. Christians do not deny the Qur'an - after all, it exists. They do, however, deny that it is God's Holy Word and they could never, in a month of Sunday TV broadcasts, ever find anything in the Qur'an to support the divinity of Jesus. For that, you would have to read the Bible.

Did the Priest speak in Arabic?
As a Priest, I do not have any need to quote the Qur'an. I have the four accounts written in Greek not Arabic.
According to Deut 18:14-22 tell us who and who is not a prophet. Muhammad did not make the cut.

As I did not see the broadcast of which you speak...could it be that the priest was simply showing that a document written by someone other than a Christian shows the existance of and even the holiness of Jesus?

I guess it's no more hypocritical than every Muslim who ever referred to The Holy Bible (which Muslims believe is corrupted) to say that Mohammad was talked about in it. The priest was wrong for even quoting that book since it's not the Word of God.
God Bless.

Yeah, It's confusing when people try to take something that they don't believe as source.
I guess some of Muslims do that too, when they take biblical verses to show that bible doesn't deny the coming of Muhammad. But we, Muslims, believe that bible today isn't the original one right?

okay, so let me get this straight...you hear one guy talking on television and suddenly, all christians must believe the same stuff as this guy does. if you think we are all a bunch of drones, why do you care what christians think?
get a clue!!! i have personally never heard one person in the christian faith use the qu'ran to justify anything. the faiths are so similar anyway considering it began as the same one. believing that one person on tv can speak for an entire group is absurd!

Christians are trying to show Muslims that Jesus is indeed God and Divine by using the Quran. The verses quoted say that Jesus is the Son of God and God the Son.

Muslims (and Islam) say Jesus was a prophet but they reject all His teachings ....that is hypocrisy.
They reject Christ's diety;
they deny his claim to be the Son of God;
they deny his death on the cross...
they deny His resurrection..
They deny Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
In fact, the Quran says : "Allah has no son".
Need I say more...?
Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ.
The Bible calls Muhammed and those like him false prophets:
"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)
