Well, I know what my son is doing..the love of his life is in Australia also. I have never seen him so happy so I had to help him out and give him enough money for him to visit her.
He is leaving this Friday from Chicago and won't be returning until August 20th. I can't believe traveling there will take nearly two days. He has two jobs and will be taking vacation without pay to visit her. I hope this relationship works out for him. I haven't met the girl yet, but she must be very special for my son has fallen very hard for her.

I don't know if the love of your life permanently resides in Australia or is there fore work or school. But, good luck to you. I'm sure if this is true love, you will find a way to make your relationship work.

Well i'm not sure where you live, but from where i live, Australia is about 14 hours away by air. So, I ask you...What kind of advice can we give you? This is about as long of a long distance relationship as you can get!

You guys should discuss the status of your relationship if you haven't already. If your willing to move there and he's up for the commitment then go there. Or, if neither of you is too uptight about your relationship, but you still love each other, suggest having an open relationship. That way his ual fufillments will be taken care of, yet he's still in love with you.

I hate to say this, but you have to move on... Long-distance relationships NEVER work out, no matter how hard you try. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that's just how it is.

if your love plans to live there and u plan to stay where you are then just be friends b/c that long distance will not work...just move on but remain cool with him
