I enjoy running and run 6-8 km 3 times per week. I weight about 260 pounds and am 6'2 in height. Will running that distance make my thighs/legs larger? Cos' I'd like to slim down instead of gaining more muscle weight.. just want to burn the fat...

if you do dead lifts with weights you don't gain muscle mass but you do get stronger.

Seems like it ought to burn the fat and make your thighs slimmer, give them some muscular definition. Are you sure its safe for your bones & joints to run that much when you weigh 260 lbs? Maybe you should lose some weight by dieting, you can walk off the weight for exercise and its easier on your joints & bones. Anyway, good luck.

No you will not get larger feet and thighs from running. You should get good running shoes and control your diet to manage your weight program.
