Distemper/parvo/canine hepatitis/adenovirus-2 and rabies....these are the vaccinations ALL dogs need to get..These are what are known as core vaccines.

Some dogs because of very high risk of exposure need Lepto, lyme, parainfluenza and/or kennel cough (bordatella)..These are noncore vaccines since they are NOT recommended for all dogs (actually few dogs need any or all of these)

Coronavirus, adenovirus-1 and giardia are NOT recommended for ANY dog ever.

The above is the current protocol as recommended by the
AAHA/AVMA and all 27 vet schools and is the one ALL vets are suppose to be following, unfortunately there are many who are not.

For more info on vaccinating go to Dr. Jean Dodds site or Dr. Ron Schultz site..I also believe there is info on the University of Wisconcin site as well.
There is also an excellent easy to understand article in the November 2006 copy of The Whole Dog Journal.

a dog needs to be vaccinated every 3 weeks until 15-16 weeks of age starting at 7-8 weeks. A dog needs distempter, parvo, lepto, parainfluenza,(these are usually in one vaccination, sometimes called a 5 way or 6 way) along with rabies . If you live in an area with a lot of ticks a lyme vaccination would be recommended. also if you plan on taking the dog to the groomer or boarding facility a bordatella is usually required.

Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, and others like heartworm crap. Go to the vet and ask them. There are not too many they have to have but once a year. It doesnt cost that much either and ur better off getting all their shots so they dont get sick or die!
