I'm moving 11 hours away from my boyfriend for 10 months. I'm hoping that everything will hopefully work out. We've been down a long bumby path and dated on and off for the last 2 years.
I want to give him something to remember me with and I'm leaving right before his birthday and I want to give him something really cool.
He's into skating and stuff, any ideas?

a Hummer should do the trick
once you drive up in that bad a s s SUV he will be committed to you for life not just 10 months.
If you were thinking something else that would work tooo probably even better.

If there's like a skate store get him a giftcard or even if theres skating parks get him a gift card to go there et him something that he'll appreciate and really enjoy, you can also get a dog chain with your picture on it and gift it to him and you know it'll remind him of you.
Or make a scrapbook of you and him together He'd love it !

hmmm, what you get him depends on your budget and time constraints.
if money is not too much of a problem, get him something that he has always wanted. maybe he wants his skateboard customised...you could offer to get it done.
what you have to remember is to show him that you care. get him something that says "i love you enough to pay attention to you and know what you like and dislike...enough to know what kind of gift you'd most like to receive on this day".
even a handmade card is a great gift because the time and effort put into making one shows that you care for whomever you are giving it to.
you could make him a nice, candle-lit dinner or eve bring him to a secluded place to have dinner...under the stars, by the beach (if you guys are into the whole romance thing)
the best thing would be a be big hug and kiss first thing in the morning.

How about a nice wallet with his name on? That way he'll think of you every time he uses it.
