I don't see why they couldn't. It's only the strict, deluded christians that think life on earth only started 2000 or 6000 years ago (or whatever the time is now).
And I don't even see why people would have a problem believing in God and evolution. Who is to say that God didn't create life on earth through evolution? Why do people have to take some things literally and others as metaphors when it comes to the bible?
It says God created the heavens and the earth in 6 days and rested on the 7th. If the earth didn't exist until God created it, what measure did he use to determine how long it took. I mean, a single day on the moon takes 28 earth days.

They denied them until there was too much evidence to ignore. They then decided to incorporate them into the Bible using a passage in Job 40 that better describes an elephant. The trunk could be the tail, or perhaps, another appendage. (Why does an elephant have four feet? Six inches would look silly.)

Most Christians worldwide have no problem with evolution and of course none with dinosaurs. It is a minority of Christians in the USA who dumb themselves down by believing in biblical literacy who have a problem.

Of course, just not ones millions of years old. I suggest you look into the Trex blood they found. Well it was not really blood but it was organic, plasma or something I cannot remember. But the funny thing is they think it lasted 65 million years. I will get you a link in a bit. Organic material lasting 65 million years come on you have to be kidding.
Ok here you go, a good laugh, sorry it was 75 million years old.

Do you really think that could last 75 million years. I am preparing to get my Phd in bio chemical engineering and I say a big fat NO!

Of course we believe that dinosaurs existed. Our point of disagreement with scientists is the timing. We believe they existed with man during the beginning times.
As to proving evolution...it will never happen...anymore than you will ever see conclusive evidence that everyone will accept that God created all things at the beginning. It is all a matter of interpretation of the information on both sides.
