So learn what he meant, for he was speaking of foolish pride standing in the way of humility. THAT is what the difficulty "is" for just about everyone for everyone fights "truth." Life does not have to be so difficult "IF" people would just learn to allow the Lord in heaven through the holy spirit "guide" them but being of the "flesh" very FEW open up to the Lord to allow it. DIFFICULTY comes into the lives of those not willing to gain enough humility to TRUST in God in heaven to see to their needs. It's why you find so many religions always BEGGING for one thing or another. They wouldn't HAVE TO "if" they let go of their foolish pride in being so "righteous."

Sorry, anyone who says this is not enlightened. This is pure dogma for the purpose of enslaving, what we commonly call bull. There are no lessons to be learned. First of all before we are born we already have access to all and everything. There would therefore be no reason to take on the physical.
IMO the truth is that we chose to experience the physical simply because of the adventure and the diversity. The diversity is required by All That Is to expand the Universe, one that is based on desire.

Jesus got much right - although I believe from incorrect premises, which is fair enough given the ignorance of the time. But you won't find all the necessary lessons in one book or on one road. Enjoy the journey - many great human beings have left signs along their way. They're great company.

learning the lesson quickly is EASY if you're the teacher, as Jesus was. for the pupil, it's a matter of being objective and able to see yourself from another perspective, gifts we all don't (i certainly don't) always have at our disposal.
the difficulty comes in the being able to see ourselves being healed, learning the lesson. can i admit to being wrong? can i see the path to heal myself, with the aid of others? can i walk that path? THOSE are some of the obstacles i think He speaks of, comparing the two paths.
and the promise given... what? at the very least, a more satisfying and fulfilling life. peace be among us who dare to overcome ourselves and walk that second path alone or in pairs. peace and love.
