I dont nessicarily look fat, but I know people can tell Im overweight. I am so stressed about my weight. So since Im stressed I am breaking out, like crazy. Ive heard all the things about eating right and excersizing daily. In april I attempted suicide because of my being overweight. Its almost time for me to go into High School, and I just want to be at a weight thats comfortable for me. I can get really depressed. And when Im depressed I eat, and eat. I tried some diet pills, even though I know its not right. But I jus feel like Im helpless. I excersize a lot. I know not as much as I should but since I feel helpless, I feel its not worth going out on the bike for a half hour when I could be at home in the air conditioning eating, or lazing around. So if anyone is out there and youve taken the time out of your life to read this, please help me. Give me some pointers or something. Thanks.

Alright, first of all, you need to know that you're fat, probably 80 lbs or so overweight. The breaking out is partly due to stress and partly due to puberty. Don't be so hard on yourself! All you need to do is eat less. I mean, you have to find out exactly what you need to eat to weigh what you want to weigh. 170 lbs is a reasonable goal. To maintain that weight, you would have to eat no more than 2000 calories plus what you burn during exercise. Eat less than that and you will lose weight. I suggest you eat approximately 300 to 500 calories less than that total per day to start losing weight. It will take you about a year to lose the weight if you do everything right, but you can definitely do it. Remember to watch what you eat and pace yourself. One can eat enough in one sitting to cancel out hours of exercise! Good luck!

You have an addiction and you need help. You eat to comfort yourself. Talk to your school counselor or a local program but don't let the addiction be an excuse. Eat smart. Limit yourself to raw fruits and veggies - you may not be able to make your own choices mealwise but let the person know that you want to make a change and eat fresh as much as you can. If you eat bread, make sure it's wheat or multigrain and EXERCISE. Get out on your bike at least 30 minutes a day and make sure your heart rate goes up. For inspiration see the fatmanbiking website. This man biked across the country (from Nevada to St. Augustine, Florida) in order to lose weight. Good luck.

Maybe try the blood type diet - it's a lifestyle change unlike typical diets and customized. I know several people who have been overweight and achieved a healthy weight shorty after beginning. I hear it is also easier to manage than other diets. You should at least look into it, and if you're interested buy the book - Eat Right for (4) Your Bloodtype.

its best to talk to your foks...a doctor will put you on the best diet plan for your weight...none of us can really tell you anything because a professional will give you the best advice.

as far as the confidince thing goes...please do not feel sorry for yourself..i feel terrible that your weight issue has brought you to the verge of suicide...i want you to know that the most possible guy @ my school is close to 300 pounds. so know that a number does not affect the kind of person you are...and if people like you or not.

also...some people are just not meant to be the average weight! take my friend...she is gorgeous...but she is like 180. by no means does she look overweight...she is just big boned!!!

please go to your parents and tell them you are serious about losing weight and that you want to go see a doctor. best of luck with everything!!! if you ever need someone to talk to dont hesitate!!!
