I wanted to say Good night to all of you: I want to thank you for your kind answers :) I really appreciate the sincerity and friendly answers I received to night and just wanted to say that this goes to prove that we are all more alike that we would like to think and there are good and bad in every religion :) but apparently MORE GOOD than bad :) LOL else we would all be fighting but we are not. What you said is totally ture, but what all people must avoid is not to generalize. Many people tend to judge others by the acts of few people of that religion. For example, a couple of Muslims act as terrorists, many people then generalize that ALL Muslims are terrorists. That is wrong! Just think of those as the bad people in the religion. Because they do not act as all the people of Islam, if you know them they are more peaceful than violent.

Except for possibly the very smallest sects, yes. But involvement in any religion is a diversion of resources from addressing the real problems of the world.

Hi. I think u answered ur own question. There are good and bad ppl in every religion and walk of life. There are good aetheists too(I wasnt sure if that's a religion).

There are many good people out there and I am so happy you have connected to some of them. It is my belief that our religion may help guide us, give us foundations, hope, etc, however, it is not what makes us good or bad. A wise man once said that actions speak louder than words.

Yes. What's more, my experiences with Interfaith Alliance have confirmed for me that people of all faiths and philosophies have a great deal more in common than they know. When we focus our energies on dealing with our shared concerns, rather than fretting over our differences, amazing things happen.
