No I disagree.
A problem "solved" with money is only a sympton that has been changed for the time that the money "fixes" it.
The problem of say hunger, is a bigger, deeper problem that just putting money to it.
Putting money to any problem, masks the problem momentarily, but the cause of the problem is still there.

Yes and No.

Yes, there are some problems that money won't solve, like abuse, or juvenile delinquency. Although, if you threw a million bucks at a juvenile being deliquent, he may stop being bad real quick if you told him more was coming.

On the other hand, if you don't, for example, pay the doctors and the hospital when you have something like cancer, then you will die. Now, granted, that solves the problem, but it's probably not the result you wanted, was it?

Cheers!!

No, I disagree. Some things require someone's money in order to provide the solution. To feed the hungry for example. Even though someone may donate a can of spam for someone else, someone had to buy that can of spam in the first place. Thus, solving the problem of hunger or starvation takes money....not just good thoughts. It is an unfortunate truth in our world. When the problem stems from someone not having any resources....it takes resources..i.e money.

No. The problem may still exist, but it's just masked with money. Money rarely solves any real problems. And if it does, those problems will be back again...because money is a temporary fix.

Depends, though. Depends on the amount of money it takes and the amount of money you have. Unless you're a rich person. But a problem is a problem until it's solved.

It is a proble if you're making 10$ an/ hour , your a widow, you have 3 kids and your about to get kicked out because you can't pay your mortgage!

Bottom line if you need the money and don't have the money, than it's a problem!

No. Having an incurable disease won't be solved with money but it's definitely a problem! You could sink money into research but that's not likely to do YOU any good, is it?

I don't know about that. Starvation is a problem that can be solved with money. Perhaps we should be asking the children of third-world countries this question...or better yet, spare them a little life-giving financial aid. =/

not really. There's always a point of diminishing returns - consider health care in America where we spend 25% of our health care dollars in the last year of life. If we doubled that (and increased spending on health care, obviously) to 50% and only increased life expectancy by 1 year, would it be worth it?

False. If I have a medical condition that will kill me in a year unless I take medicine costing $20,000 a month, and I have only $100,000, that's a problem.
