I've never had a camera with a memory stick, my new camcorder does and I don;t know how it works and when I find out, what do I do with it after that?? Help! I need it for a wedding soon! Thanks in advance!

It is a solid state memory that will hold your images in files. It is shaped like a stick of gum. It can be pulled out from the camera for transferring the files to a computer (or you can leave it in the camera and do a transfer by cable from the camera).

Uh, didn't you read the included manual? It stores pictures that you take with the camcorder.

If you want to record videos, you need Mini Dv media.
