How should I do my hair for a wedding?
I want something that looks like I got it done, but I did it by myself. Are there any websites that shows you how to do it step by step? I have thick curly brown hair. Its medium length but I can straighten it. Any ideas?
Thanks!

If you can Braid or pref french braid-either way is fine(under or over) Now, under is my preference looks more polished, but if you want an updo that is soft and simple, but has a uniqueness about it, the over way will suit you best. Be sure your hair is brushed and is dry, Ok so here goes
You'll need bobbie-pins, soft rubberband-preferrably same color as your hair, hot curling iron, sparkly flower or decor to put in hair after completed-barett, clip or pin style works fine.
Flip head over-brush back of head down to direction of floor, pull front in tightly. Next : start braiding at back of scull at hair line towards the floor- you will be doing it backwards then you're used to, so you may have to fiddle with it until you get a good flow)- have a friend do this part would be easier. Once braid has reached almost top of head tightly use rubber band. you will have a high ponytail at this point. Wrap a small strand section around rubberband hiding it, pin the last part of that underneath the pony tail to avoid it from being shown. The rest of your hair will be curled and pinned up with small ringlets drapping over the braid and sides of your head. Be sure you can see the braid, from behind people will notice it and compliment your designer do. You can do with or without bangs, if you choose bangs, to the side would be most formal. You can put a decor in your hair like butterfly or small star diamond/sparkle baretts. That finishes of the look

I found some links that may help, but speaking from experience the best thing you can do for yourself is go get your hair done.

If it is money you are worried about, ask around, maybe someone knows someone that can do you hair at your house for cheap! My friends mom is a stylist and I paid her to do my hair and my bridesmaids hair and she gave me a great deal!

Another option is if there is a hair stylist school around you may be able to go have a trial done for cheap and maybe the girl will come to your house on the side. Or maybe your maid of honor can help you!!

Anyway here are the links:
