What are women attracted to most? Looks or personality?

I was just wondering if looks are more important than personality and what kind of personality is attractive.

Personality to me comes first, I would hate to have a good looking guy that is a total butthead.

A combo of both. I DON'T mean the hottest guy with the best personality! I mean a guy can be alright/kinda cute looking and if his personality is amazing almost any girl would go for that. But almost every girl goes through a 'bad boy' stage. A personality that is attractive is a sweet guy with manners but doesn't let anyone, even the girl, walk all over them. They have to be respectful and treat the girl right.

Looks will catch attention initially, but I've become physically attracted to guys once I get to know their personality and turned off by guys who I initially thought were attractive because they didn't have a good personality. Looks are the first thing I notice, but the personality will make or break you.

In my opinion i find personality more atractive than looks. To be honest, i think that the personality is what makes the person attractive and handsome. To me the personality type that i find attractive on a guy would be that he'd be respectful, responsible, patient, kind, and feels serious when it comes to marriage and family.

i was attracted to my bf's personality and kind of looks at first....i think it just depends on what kind of girl you are..if you are shallow you will go strictly on looks, if you can see past people's look you will go for personality. But for me the longer i am with someone and the more i fall in love with them...the more attractive to me they become!! lol, by the time we are together for about a half year i have a Brad Pitt!!!!! hahahahhahahahhaha

Personality.
At first women are interested in looks because it's obviously the first thing you see, like if a woman sees someone who's good looking they'll obviously be attracted to them a little more than everyone else. But then they'll see someone else who really stands out and grabs their attention and they kind of have more to think about and laugh to themselves about silly things while the good looking guy will kind of be bland and boring.
Girls like guys who are funny, not over-confident (only as a joke i.e. only because I'm so huge haha) but still confident, flirtatious etc.
